Severe Weather Possible Friday (UPDATED)

A Off-Topic forum to discuss things that aren't related to the Amusement Park Industry.

A springtime storm system that has been dumping up to 4 inches of rain, baseball size hail and tornadoes over much of the plain states will be heading into the Chicagoland area Friday.

Right Now the Storm Prediction Center in Norman Oklahoma has placed the entire Chicago area in a Moderate Risk of Severe Weather tomorrow and tomorrow afternoon. As temps surge into the 80s, Weather Watches could be issued during the course of the day.

The above graphics set the scene for us in the Chicagoland area, as a Low Pressure system sweeps into the area, which as said about could be in the lower 80s tomorrow, as this system approches the atmosphere will become very unstable and could produce Severe Weather. As a result Weather Watches are possible tomorrow. Early indications, show that the first round of Severe weather could rumble through the Chicago area by mid morning, the clouds could break allowing for the sun to come out and heat up the atmosphere, triggering more Severe Storms by late afternoon.

As always I will update the weather as I can.

High Winds Warning for Lake Co. IL. A large tree branch came down on some power wires in my back yard. Fire department on it's way.

Weather here in Indiana is AWFUL. Strong Tstorms and some hail...

Just got back from a Tower of Power concert and it was lightning the whole time! My dad really knows what hes talking about when he says they are talented musicians... I dont like thier style, but they make like 95% of todays bands look talentless... Their singer is amazing... Best voice Ive ever heard...

I was tent camping at IB in all that, though it seems it quite as strong down there. Lots of thunder, lightning, crazy heavy rain, but that was about it. Tent managed to stay somewhat dry.

Gotta love ComEd or Grayslake Fire Dept. or whoever cut the branch off the wire and just left all the tree crap in our yard. Just came home from a trip to Wisconsin and found my backyard like this:
