A major spring time storm system that has produced Tornadoes up and down the plains will make its way into the region late tonight and into much of the day Monday.
Conditions currently are favorable for Severe Development over most of the Chicagoland Metro Area tonight and into tomorrow.
RIGHT NOW:
A TORNADO WATCH is in effect for Dekalb and Lasalle counties until 3am Monday.
As always I will update the Current weather situation as it develops.

Indeed very nasty weather. Just drove home in this stuff from Gurnee Denny's and all I can say is I'm glad I changed my wiper blades last week.
Also, parts of Rt. 83 in Grayslake are flooded.
UPDATE:
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for all of the Chicagoland Metro Area, As well as the Rockford Metro area until 5am Monday Morning.
