Some coward left a threat at Saint Xavier last wednesday and now the campus is closed. Mother Mcauley and Brother Rice (my school) are also closed on monday.

They found bomb threat graffiti on the bathroom wall at Grayslake Middle School this afternoon and my brother said they were released 5 minutes early. Scary stuff...
I guess that with everything that's been happening lately, they have to take every precaution necessary. It's too bad that we live in a world like that.
In the past two days since the St. Xavier threat, Grayslake Middle School and Frederick school have been evacuated because of threats. Frederick got its first threat today, and GMS got one yesterday another one today, which makes it 3 now. Both schools are not even a half-mile from me.
What the eff??
Mt. Assisi was off today because someone called in on a bomb threat and a kid at Reavis was trying to make a threat on a bathroom wall and apparently he got caught. My dad told me he told the administration that he said that he just wanted a day off. In my opinion this kid NEEDS to be expelled and possibly juvee time because they need to set a precedent for these kids.
i remember back in middle school, we had a bomb threat. A girl first came into the gym and was saying someone was threatening to kill herself. So she went through the ID catalog (since we had to wear our school Id's around our neck) and didn't find someone with the description. Then she changed her story, saying there was a bomb in the school. The school took it seriously, and evacuated us to the high school, which was two blocks north. We sat in the high school for three hours, just waiting. While we waited, the Elgin police department came in with the K-9 unit, and they searched the whole school. In the end, they found a squirt gun in the bathroom, but no bombs. The girl was expelled, and we made front page news.

yeah there was also a bomb threat at South Suburban college and, i believe, Moraine Valley. I miss the good ol days when people just pulled fire alarms.

We had a shooting threat here at UIC about a month ago. However, just like my school, they made us go like normal even before they found the culpret.

Grayslake Central HS had a bomb threat today. They had a boys bathroom Caution taped off and they put us on lock down for an hour or so.
This is really getting old...
