Which type of radio waves do you think are better????

Do you like to pick up the free waves such as FM or AM? Or do you like satellite Radio such as XM and Sirius. (both of these are about 14 a month.)??

If you were to ask me 3 months ago I would’ve said FM and ask you why would you pay for the satellite. I went on a long trip with a friend and he had XM in his car. It was the greatest thing ever to be able to listen to your favorite station or stations from point a to point be no matter how far it is. There was little or no interruption. I was sold at that point. I am now hooked on the good old satellite and don’t think I will ever change back unless the companies decide to hike their rate drastically. Please comment and give me a piece of your mind!

When I worked at Circuit City I got my Dad a XM radio at a great deal back when XM still cost around $200 for the radio itself. Perhaps one of my greatest gifts as its used all the time. Programming is great and original.

My favorite channels are the Comedy ones and Soundtrack channels, other nice thing is you can also listen to them online so if you only have one receiver (my Dad uses the one I got him) but I can listen to XM any time on the internet (Not all channels though.)

My receiver was about $275 after rebates.. It came with two kits. One kit for home and one for car. It also doubles as a mp3 player and can be carried round and pick up a signal like a walkman.

Another nice thing with satellite radio is that it's now being offered on airlines.

My last trip to Florida on Air Tran had me listening to non-stop music on the flight.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I prefer just listening to CDs, but I'd say satellite it worth paying for.

We have XM. I don't like how they play alot of the same artists over and over. Especially on classic rock stations.
