Haunted Houses - What's your favorite?

It's that time of year again, and I want to hear what you've found to be the BEST haunted houses in the Chicagoland/Wisconsin/Northwest Indiana region. I want to hear about the most unique and scary haunted attractions that you've had the chance to see over the past few years. Please don't include local, small places that have just a handful of spooks. Also, let's leave off SFGAm's haunted attractions. Let's discuss the best of the best.

Also, if any of you have been to a haunted corn maze, please post that info here as I've been looking for, but have never found a haunted corn maze in the region.

I can't remember where it was I think it was in Schaumburg but it used to be a Service Merchanise store that went out of business a long time ago, it was pitch black inside and it had sounds like someone was getting eletrocuted and it had lots of other things but I mostly freaked out while going through it so I don't remember much but at the end there was a guy with a chainsaw and doors creaking open and just creepy stuff like that. I don't know if it's still going on there during Halloween but this was in like 2000 I think if I can remember.

Statesville is pretty good. It's in Joliet right across from the Statesville prison. One year I went they said if you make it through you get your money back. I don't know if they do that every year or what though.

I think it just scares you alot mentally because its sponsered by the prison and its also litterally right across the street from Statesville prison which is also where they film Prison Break might I add.
Here's a link to the website

Oh and it's for the haunted house not the actual prison.
