Al's is amazing! There's one located on Lake St. in Addison, like 10 or 15 mins. from my house, so I've had there beef many times. It's very good.
But even better is Johnnie's Beef. There's a little stand in Elmwood Park (where I lived when I was little), and a bigger one in Arlington Heights. Their beef is perfect! (And a lot less pricey than Al's) They also have some kick @$$ Italian Ice!
