Superman Returns director Bryan Singer recently appeared at a movie convention and said Superman 2 is due in 2009. I think that this is way too early for a sequel judging that Superman Returns was very overrateed. I have 1 question who do u think will be the new villain?

I say Brainiac or Doomsday
1 Riddler 2 Millenium 3 Raptor 4 Batman 5 Raging Bull

I don't think the Superman Returns was overrated at all, and how can a sequel be way to early? 2009 is three years away. Well, 2 1/2 years. The beat down that Lex, and his goons gave Superman was just brutal, and very well acted. I even had a hard time watching it. As far as the new villain is concered, well you know one of them will be Lex Luthor, since Spacey, Routh, and Bosworth have signed on to do three movies.

Ma Kent said " the universe is a big place. You never know whats out there", and Singer mentioned in another interview that there are missing crystals, and a large growing island laced with Kryptonite floating out in space, and there is offspring there.
The best bet for a villian, is that it will come from that island.

Well it would have to be the last Superman movie ever if they were to put Doomsday in the next movie, because ultimatly Doomsday kills Superman.

And like all popular movies, I think they will keep making them until it stops making money.

Two words for ya....................Rocky Balboa.
Rocky was simply an excellent movie, and hard to imagine that Sly Stallone wrote it. Rocky II, was a darn good movie too. Rocky III was average, and then 4 and 5 were almost unwatchable, and now Rocky Balboa comes out in December.
