I'm going to Disney World in a few weeks for the first time. Anyone have any advice? What to ride, what to avoid? Thanks. [/u]

^Mission: SPACE

I go to WDW every year for the past 7 or 8 years. This is our 1st year not going because I got my first job.

Heres my advise:

~Magic Kingdom~:

CANT MISS:
Splash Mountain
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Stitch's Great Escape may be another but I have not been on it

TRY IT:
Buzz Lightyer's Space Ranger Spin (its fun to see your score)
Tomorrowland Blue Line (I dont know exacly what it's called but it goes into Space Mountain),
Jungle Cruise

Side Notes: Magic Kingdom is a park where you have to go there and then decide what to do. Also, Magic Kingdom has a new fireworks show as of last year. Its called Wishes. I have not seen it so I dont know if its good or not. But nothing beats Epcots!

~Epcot~:

CANT MISS:
Mission: SPACE
Test Track
Jouney To Your Imagination
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth (Night Time)
TRY IT:
Spaceship Earth

Side Notes: In my opinion, Illuminations is the best fireworks show...ever! It takes place in the World Showcase Lagoon. My advice would be to arrive an hour early to get a good spot

~MGM Studios~:

CANT MISS:
Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
Tower of Terror
Fantasmic (Night Time)
TRY IT:
Star Tours
Indiana Jones
Muppet Vision 3D
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire-Play It
Great Movie Ride

Side Notes: Hit Rock 'N' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror first thing in the morning as these lines can get pretty long as the day goes on. Also, get to Fantasmic and hour early as it takes place in a outdoor theater and you sit on bleachers and it fills up FAST! Note that the front rows do get wet, so if you want one of those rows, get there an hour and a half early.

~Animal Kingdom~

CANT MISS:
Kali River Rapids
Kilamajoro Safari
Dinosaur (Previously Countdown to Extinction)
Tarzan Rocks
Expedition Everest*

TRY IT:
Anything Else

Side Notes: Animal Kingdom is a park where you can do it in half a day and be done. There is also no closing show either as fireworks would scare the animals.

*= I have not been on Expedition Everest but I hear it's fun
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

I think it's the Tommorowland Transit Authority. It's pretty boring, but it's always going to be a short line. I would definitely ride Space Mountain because in my opinion, it is going to get refurbished. Disneyland has just been done, and I expect this one to change. A big problem I've heard from this ride is the fact that people drop things while the trains criss-cross from one side to the other.

Stich's Great Escape is almost the same thing at the Extra Terristial Ride they had before. If you liked that, you're weird. JK To me, that's a really stupid ride, and it's funny how many people there were in line for that when I was there. Now, the ride you should go on is Carousel of Progress. This ride might or might not be there anymore for the fact that it's hardly open in the other months that aren't summer. It also closes earlier. See it as least once if you haven't before because it might be gone pretty soon. Don't forget about the Country Bears. They are always fun to watch.

China also has a new Space Mountain. So, I can bet you, they are really going to rehab this ride. Even if it doesn't disappear next year to a new Space Mountain, you should go on it as if it would. An article said that it would receive changes.

Mission Space now has two sides. One is orange, and one is green. One side does nothing but shows the movie, while the other one does the same thing it always did. Spaceship earth (the ball) shouldn't take that long. Many people like the Norway ride because it is a boat ride at EPCOT. Test Track is the most packed ride at EPCOT. I've just been there, and the line was huge. So, get your fast pass first on this ride over there. Also, there is Honey I Shrunk the Audience which really isn't that bad to ride. Pretty soon, I've also heard that the Universe of Energy might be taken out (Dinosaur ride with Ellen and Bill Nye), and some of the Dinosaurs might be put in the Animal Kingdom. I don't know if this is true, but it might be me. So, if you are interested in Dinosaurs, and energy, you should ride this.

At Animal Kingdom, I would skip the Rapids ride because it's just another Roaring Rapids. Instead, I would go on "It's Tough To Be a Bug." This is in the big tree in the middle of the park. This is pretty scary, and fun at the same time. It's not frightening, but you don't know what's coming up.

Magic Kingdom, I have only one tip... do not, I repeat, DO NOT RIDE THE FERRY TO GET TO THE MAIN GATES. Ride the monorail.

I could go on and on about that rediculous system, but I'm gonna save that for my trip report.
