I was thinking about getting a video ipod, but I am curious as to whether its really worth the money(I want to get the 30gig one, its 300 dollars i think). Is this really worth it, or should I just get a color screen ipod?
I'm running to Bull on opening day, anyone gets in my way and they'll get trampled.
I have a nano but it got washed in the washing machine on accident and i have to see if apple can fix it and if they dont my mom might pay 50 bucks extra for the video.
Several of my friends have the video ipod and they are GREAT quality.
So you wont be wasting money. Besides, they have a pretty descent collection of TV shows and music videos on iTunes.
INCLUDING JACKASS AND SOUTH PARK!!!!!!!!!! (newly added)
I got a video iPod this month, and I love it. So much better than the nano for only 50 more. I have a ton of songs, music videos, nfl highlights and tv shows. I would definitely get one, I didnt think I would use mine that often, but I use it ALOT daily...
I didn't think the video iPod was that big of a deal. I had a 20 gig color screen. But then I got a free 30 gig video iPod. And when I figured out how to put DVD's on it it became one of my most prized possessions.
Now I can watch episodes of Family Guy or Aqua Teen between classes. I have two breaks that are an hour and a half long.
What I'm getting at is that the video is definately worth it.
You have to download something to change the video file type. I suggest Videora, thats what I use for MPEG files. Transcode the video, then just add it to your iTunes library.
