It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
I'm sure this ride will be a great fit for Six Flags, but the thing that annoys me is the lack of creativity. I know it is easy to add the same ride, and cost supports that, but it is annoying how they add the exact same clone, instead of new ideas. What if they made a southwest dark ride? It would be perfect where the Amphitheater was. I really wish some flats too though, oh well, maybe next year.
I'm going to put aside some of my negative thoughts about the teasers, because none of that matters now. Just looking at the ride, I'm very happy with it (especially given that most other parks just got Larson Loops and/or flat rides). This seems like it should be a great family ride unlike everything else in the park. I know lots of people are worried about the location, but I'm going to wait and see because there are ways to put it there without looking too out of place I think...

Let's say you're Six Flags. Do you spend an extra $10 million dollars or whatever to make a brand new fresh ride or just use the one you already have (the one that has the more popular theme that has a lot of movies coming out to promote it over the next few years?)
Pretty sure if you choose the first one, that's how people get fired and companies go bankrupt.
Overall, it's a 2015 repeat. I'm glad we got the JL ride though. It also appears that SF is starting to add multiple attractions at different parks. And not to mention that SF finally got to their senses and didn't call the Larson Loops coasters.
so call me ignorant, I'm not that big of a fanatic that knows the manufacturers names, and every in and out of a ride but from the video is this JL thing just like a cross between the Scooby-Doo Dark ride that was at SF St. Louis and the spiderman ride at Universal, a 3D experience with shooting at targets?
Also all this talk about Larson loops, do we think we would ever get one? Don't they just seem like the old Power Dive minus a giant loop. I was at the WI State Fair and watched what I thought was one and it just reminded me of PowerDive, and since they are so similar we can say "been there, done that, moving on"
^ I actually wonder if one of those Larson Loops might be perfect to finally replace TrailBlazer. But as long as Six Flags insists on calling them coasters, keep them away from here
So thats all we're getting is the darkride? I thought there were supposed to be a couple things?

Candy: What you lookin' at? Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama. Candy: Yeah, you see something you like? Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.
I said the same thing about putting a Larson Loop in Trail Blazer spot. Call it the Wild Wild West or something The Lasso! I'm hoping for a Screaming Swing in Cajuns spot. Skyhawk is a awesome ride!!

Who cares what's a coaster and what isn't? Even Cedar Point is stretching the definition these days. It's the ride that matters, not the marketing...

It's going to get really expensive for me to go back around the country and get all those "credits" I missed At least I can add Jester's Wild Ride to my track record
This is a very good addition for the park, and it is a really cool ride (we rode it this summer in St. Louis). Capacity still concerns me, but at least it is added capacity for the park as a whole with a new ride, and the reliability was pretty bad in St. Louis if not also in Texas, but hopefully they were able to work the major bugs out with the prototypes and have a better idea of how to get it running well here. Hit it early in the day is my advice!
