Pack up the kids because "Wiggles World" is coming to Six Flags Great America in Gurnee.
The park's newest attraction is a children-friendly area featuring the Australian quartet decked out in their famous red, purple, blue and yellow shirts.
Offering rides, games and fun for children ages 2 through 6, the new area will be in County Fair, inside the tent where the line for the American Eagle formed, park spokesman Jim Taylor said.

^^ Good question. I originally figured they would squeeze Eagle's entrance between the tent and Dare Devil Dive, but looking at pictures, there is no room at all there.
I knew this was coming, but still, it is a bit sad. Great for 2 to 6 year olds though. They'll have another place to go. Wiggles scare me....very scary men. I'll remember to stay away from park the day they come...
who says the tent will still be there? it says Wiggles World will encompase the area were the eagle tent stands, doesnt ness. mean the tent will still be there. :/ wonder how big this area willbe
^ Man your right about that. Throw in a few dirty diapers in an area that is not well ventilated with a tent over it, and you have yourself a nice little kids section that will smell like roses come summer time. Time for me to get some noseplugs.
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.
I never understood why that tent was even still there, i mean its not like it was covering anything special, they never used the extra line qeues or anything and stuff, so i wouldnt miss it
I sure hope they are taking this addition into account when it comes time to staffing lifeguards! Just think, a family with only kids in this 2-6 age range won't spend the money to come just for this, it'll be more than likely families with kids more or less around the ages of 12 and under. This means one CROWDED Skull Island in the summer and with this place already lacking in lifeguards, they better be ready for the increase in occupants!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
The definition of the area is a little uncertain to me. Is it going to encompass the entire area under the tent, or just where the old AE queue lines are?
When Taylor said "Inside the tent where the line for the AE formed", realize that the line doesn't go into the entire tent area. It seemed as if the park would be trying to cram a lot in the area if it were only going to be located where the old Queue lines were.

You think the wiggles are scary? Have you ever seen the doodlebops before? Now those people give me nightmares.
Cant possibly tell me this area will be under most of the tent and stick out, if it sticks out it will run into revolution. why bother keeping the tent up. It also says it will have its own food court. hrm
Wiggles World,” the park’s third area devoted exclusively to children, will feature specially-themed rides and attractions including The Big Red Car ride, The Big Red Plane ride, Dorothy’s Rosy Tea cups, Bouncin’ with Wags ride, Henry’s Splash Fountain, the S.S. Feathersword Pirate Ship play area, and the “Get Ready To Wiggle” show featuring the Wiggles’ friends. The area will also include retail locations selling Wiggles merchandise and and the Yummy Yummy Cafe serving healthy meals.
So all that, in theory by some, will all fit under the tent, and outside the front of the tent. You do remember there is still the games and revolution in front of the tent, so remove the tent, for rides reasons, remove the building underneath the tent, probably build this new area right up american eagle and spaces around or something. who knows.
Guys there's enough room for it to stay under the tent convert bleachers and the games into that "yummy yummy" whatever food thing, and have four tiny kiddie rides and two small play areas sticking out far enough to still have enough midway go by revolution. There's a lot of small tree and grass patches there and those are all probably going the way of the Do-Do, It's just going to be like every other kiddie area in that you will never have to walk through it if you don't want to.
in my opinion, I believe a 2-4 year old has no business inside a Six Flags park. Typically "junior" will probably come in, sleep through Wiggles, then cry and want to leave because of the Chicago heat during the summer. Though it will bring money into the park from the kid and parents, I don't see the satisfaction rate in the park going up at all this year. My 4.5 yr. old cousin even says the Wiggles is for babies. Plus, it's gonna be bad during Fright Fest because when mommy and daddy take junior to see the Wiggles for Halloween, they're gonna have to get through the scare zones in CaPl, HTS, Troll Bridge, Demons, and Co.Fair before getting to Wiggles World. For a little kid, that'll be enough to scar him for life.
