Season dining pass offer

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby brian76 on April 15th, 2016, 7:24 pm
I received a 48 hour "sale" of a regular dining pass for $34.99. Is this being offered to everyone and is it worth it? I have a season pass and planned on bringing food in the car. In the past I've split meals with my son as some of them are actually fairly large. I thought this might save time and be worth it for one person to feed the two of us this summer.

How did you get that? An email? I'd be interested, but didn't get anything...

Here was some of the email fine print.

You received this very special offer because you are currently a Six Flags Great America Season Pass Holder or Member.

We might send you a better offer or a worse offer, but not this offer. At this time we don't have anything planned.

I assume the link is somehow personalized to each person, but if it's not can one of you share it?

Thanks anyway. Obviously seems like they're doing some sort of test of it at different price points, hopefully they'll hit me some time...

Got the same offer, but since we're not big fans of park food I'll pass.

If you go to the park regularly, then get it. Great deal in my opinion.

Got the $29.99 offer as well. It's for a Basic Season Dining Pass which is lunch and a snack. For that price I might go ahead and pull the trigger. Biggest hassle will be getting it processed.
Do that add these things to your existing pass/membership or is it a separate card?

Whisky Tango Foxtrot?!

My e-mail was $54.99.... Not a deal at all since I'll probably only use it a handful of times.... At $30 it becomes more palatable....

Well, I didn't get one at all, so consider yourself lucky...

I didn't get one either! We have 2 gold season dining, but my spouse doesn't have a season dining attached. For $30 I would get him one. He doesn't come as frequently and I do with the kid so when he does come I share a meal with the kid.

I wrote to the park on Twitter complaining that I didn't get the deal. No response...

I'm thinking about calling them up about it and seeing if they'll give me a deal over the phone.

If you already have a pass, you go to Pass Processing to have it added. If you buy a combo like the 4 or more deal and the dining pass together then it's already on when you process it at the front gate.

Not along the lines of dining passes, but what ever happened to the photo pass? Is that a thing?

Yes, it's $35 for the season or $30 for one day for unlimited digital photos and 50% off prints.

I got the $34.99 offer. I jumped on it and processing it on Saturday took about 2 minutes, maybe less.

My friend bought a season pass a couple days ago and got an email offer of $29.99. She did get it today.

Sorry for double post but I am wondering about something relating to the dining pass. Me and my dad have a dining pass. If I were to go to the park without my dad, can I still use his dining pass? Or would I have to go through the entrance with his card (find an attendant not scanning fingerprints)? I did this last year during fright fest but I used his card to get into the park. Is the dining pass usable without going through the gate?

No. The pass must be scanned at the entrance to be used at the park that day.

Looks like they're doing dining pass offers again - I just got a personalized e-mail for a basic dining pass for $49.99 for the next two days only. Somewhat weird thing is my main account already has a deluxe dining pass (but the rest of my family has nothing, so I guess that's who it's really aimed at?)
