Hey, Every1 I have been watching these forums for a while, they are pretty cool. I'm from Michigan City, Indiana, and I'm about 2 hours from SFGAm. I got my first ever season pass this year and I'm enjoying it. I started a S:UF recreation after I rode it on thursday the 19th. It was a great ride. If you can help me with this recreation, I need some help working with the track. I already did the pretzel loop with my own custom supports. Here are some screen shots at http://community.webshots.com/scripts/e ... 854665It's going pretty well so far. Just email me at perfect_dark5000@hotmail.com if you want to help me with this recreation. Thanks.
A good model of S:UF at Great Adventure can be found here:http://www.sixflagsnewjersey.com/superman/SFGAdv_Superman.mpgI don't have No Limits, but good luck with your recreation.
The recreation looks very good so far. I could never make a recreation as good as that.I've seen that video before, I saved it on my computer when I first saw it months ago. I watched it every day before opening day for SFGAm.
T_Biggs is pretty good with No Limits, so he might be able to help. Theres plenty of photos in the Media Day Construction update that you could use to work off of.
I'm quite rusty, I'm sure. I havn't done any coasters in NL for months. Anyways, I'm bad at recreations, I only did Shockwave and it wasn't very good (however, it was one of my first coasters I built. It's long since gone.) If you want to see some of my work, go to CoasterSims.com and find TrBiggar. Thats me. Maybe after the end of the season, if I have any free time, I'll start making coasters again.
i have a very good NL recreation of S:UF, and if you would like me to send it to you for reference, just lemme know.p.s. if you need it soon, would be best to contact me through email/AIM, as i dont get a lot of browsing time herep.p.s. i did NOT make it, and forgot where i downloaded it, so i cant credit the author, but im still willing to share.
I have uploaded some new photos of the turn around on Superman. It's coming along very well. I have made the supports on the turn around thicker just incase you notice in the photos that they are Size 2. They are now Size 3.
