I arrived at the park at 9 and waited for the parking lot to open at 9:30. They only had two lanes open and there were a lot of people. This was my third visit to the park this year. I was in the park right at 9:30 and walked over to Superman. The enterence is looking better, but still doesnt look as good as Georgia or Jersey. The ride didnt open til about 10:20 and I was on the first train of the day. All the times I have ridden Superman I was in the front so I decided to ride in the back. As I was in the station I looked at the parking enterance and about 20 buses were backed up waiting to get in. After Superman I rushed over to Viper and did the back row without a wait. Next I went to Raging Bull and waited 10 minutes for the way back. When I got off RB it was going on 11. Next my buddies and I went over to the Demon and didnt have to wait for front row! Whizzer was next on our list and once agian no wait and we were in the back of the train. I was upset b/c the Eagle Red was not running, but we did ride Eagle Blue. It was the worst experience on the Eagle in my life. I love going backwards, but the blue was so much more rough than the red. It has never been that rough ever. By 11:30 the lines started to grow. We walked past IW and decided to do Fiddler's Fling. The ride op was entertaining. A kid asked what the ride was like and he described Fiddler's Fling as the tilt a whirl on steroids. Good Description! The longest line of the day was next and it was Batman. 45 minutes we waited and rode in the last row. We left the park for lunch and as we were leaving Superman was stuck on its lift hill. When we returned Superman was up and running and we waited 30 minutes for the back of the train. After Superman we walked around and got right on the East River Crawler. Iron Wolf was next and it was a 10 minute wait for the front row. We worked our way back and went on Raging Bull again and the wait was 15 minutes for the last row. RB was only running two trains. Next we waited 15 minutes for the Viper. Great ride like always. We walked past The Obit and we rode with no wait. It was not a hot day, but we all decided to go on Roaring Rapids for the first time this year. After the rapids we figured we would dry off in line for Superman. Superman only had a 20 minute wait and we did the back row again. We finally ended our day on Columbia. I almost forgot DeJaVU still didnt have a train. I really was scared seeing all those buses, but It was a great day with little lines.
Great TR. Superman getting stuck on lift happens alot at SfOg. I was there for 2 day and in total it got stuck 8 times on the lift hill!! I was in line for 7 of them and on one time when it got stuck . It only takes about 10 minutes for it to be up and running again, and is quite fun being stuck on the lift.
The first half of the Helix was fine, but you could tell right away when you were back on the old track. The worst part was after the helix going back to the station. Non stop bad vibrations. I thought it was so bad it made IW look smooth.
