Superman: Ultimate Flight Review

Let us know how your day at the park was.

I have called Superman: Ultimate Flight the "Ultimate" Addittion. As the gate was moved for the first GP ride (which I was on in the money seat!)Supervisor John Curty had one thing to say:"Let man spread wings and FLY!"S:UF does not deliver extreme positive g's throughout the ride. Actually, other than the pretzel knot, the ride is pretty relaxing! I love tilting into flying position up the lift and the drop is my favorite drop in the park (as long as your in the money seat!) The helixes and inline twist are a lot tamer than I expected them to be, but the pretzel knot is great! The old ShockWave switchback queue is used and then it is flat all the way to the station. The "theming" is signs of Superman villans and facts about them along with the Superman theme playing in the backround. As of now, it flies over nothing but dirt.Money Seat: Back row, far seat in the station. One of the best rides in the park! 9/10.

Oh yeah, that pretzel loop is a freakin religious experience.Flying through it on your back makes you feel like your organs are compressing against your spine.People do need to realize that if S:UF was as intense as lets say Batman:TR, I feel there would be some serious problems with what the body could handle and the restraints themselves. You are basically at the mercy of those restraints. The whole idea of this ride is the feeling of flying. It wasnt designed to bring all out intensity. Its fine with the pretzel loop because when you feel those G's , your body isnt pressed against the restraints.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I personally like the front also with the back too. I rode the front and you get a very cool view. but in the back you get the bunch of g's more than in the front. So im 50/50 on my selection of were to sit on the ride.
Hey it could happen....
