Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I wonder if the line for Top Thrill Dragster will go fast since it's got like six trains... What do you guys, and girls of course, think???

yeah that's what i'm thinking... but it looks like the station is big enough for two trains... i wonder if they'll be able to load one train while unloading another...that would make the process go a lot smoother...

In the concept drawing I only see 5 trains on the track. There are 2 in the station which probally means load and unload like Millennieum Force. Then theres one waiting for launch, one on the top hat and one making the turn after the break run to the station. So I wonder if one train will always be on the transfer track.

They say it 1500 people will ride it in 1 hour!!!! Ragging Bull has 1560 people ride it in 1 hour. Ragging Bulls line moves pretty quickly when they have all three trains running. The line will movw pretty much the same as Ragging Bull, but the line will be a lot longer lengh wise. I really want to go on it!!!!

Yeah I agree. With all the blocking how it is set up I think that only 5 trains will be possible unless they can sit 2 out on the breaks before the station, 2 in the station, one waiting for launch, and one on the tophat. Is that possible? But I think this will be a very fast moving line, but still hours in length. I wonder if they will have to give out special tickets to ride, anyone hear anything?

Cedar Point probably haven't thought about that yet. They still have 4 months befor they open. I doubt they would do something like that. It would piss people if they walk to the ride and then found out they had to get tickets or they waited for hours and at the entrance to the station they were asking for tickets. I think doing that would be pointless and the line will be the same!

well, sometimes they'll hand out a ticket at the entrance of a ride that says your place in line... then nobody can jump the line or anything... they did that on raging bull. or sometimes they can give you a ticket at the beginning of the day, so that everybody gets a chance to ride it without having to wait hours and hours... but they probably won't do that.

Oh ok I did uderstabd what you ment! That makes alot of sense! Becuase people line jump to avoid a 4 hour long line! But know Raging Bull uses fastlane so you can't do that anymore. But Raging Bull's line isn't bad anyways

I wonder whatever happened to the line jumping tickets, they used to be a great idea. The last time I remember getting one is for Batman The Ride a few years ago. I remember if you slid them across the hand railings the whole line, by the end of the line the ticket would be near black. :)

I take that back, I now see 6 trains on the track in the concept drawing. There is a red train on the turn to the station that sort of blends in with the track.

Gabe, that is how the ride works. It has brakes that will prevent a collision. Thats what all of those fins that pop up after the train goes by are for.
My Top 5: 1)TTD, 2)Millennium Force, 3)Raptor, 4)Deja Vu, 5)Raging Bull

There are two trains in the station, one at staging, one thats going through the cycle, and one thats unloading. The 6th train is on the transfer track. There are valley brakes that come up once the one train launches to prevent a collision.

The real conversation going on here now should be why did dejavukid17 bring back multiple dead threads? And why did he post the same thing twice here? And why did he start one asking if TTD is reliable, everyone knows its not.
