Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

we arrived saturday around park opening. we had 3 people who had to get thier passes done, which was about an hour and a half wait. after that was done, we went in for a few hours to kill time before our hotel check in (2 pm). then we went back to the hotel and rested up for a while before heading back to the park around 5 or so and then we stayed til closing.we were supposed to be at the park on sunday at 830 because as joe cool club members, you can get into the park a half hour before the general public and ride either millennium force or top thrill dragster. unfortunately none of the 3 rooms our gruop was in got our 7am wake up call, so we didnt end up getting to the park until 11 or so. we also stayed until closing, but left during the day to get some grub.monday we got up on time and got to take advantage of our early entrance, unfortunately ttd was experiencing dificulties and wasnt running, but we did get on mf with about a half hour wait. my buddy rico and his g/f left for home at about 2 because they had to work on tuesday, and my brother, my girlfriend, and i stayed until about 9 (we had wicked twister and mf freeway stamps for 7-8 and 8-9).

Got on Millenium 4 times, you have to ride it at night. Gemini and Magnum 3 times. Magnum is one that is fun and painful at the same time, so much air. Dont ride it near the front cause youll get whiplash in your neck cause there is no headrests! Raptor, Mantis, and Wicked Twister twice. With out the trims on in the mid course brake run on Raptor, the helixes at the end was the most powerful g's i have ever felt, as good as MF. Everything else we did once, plus power tower space shot twice.
Did you stay three days at the park?

I would give anything to make it to coastermania, but I can't. It's so painful to live so close and not be able to make it.

you should convert it with divix you can get the movie size for a 4 min movie (120X80) resolution down to about 3-4 megabytes. dont ask me how to do it though-my freinds do it for me.

How much do you have to pay for Coastermania? Do you have to be a member of some club to get in?

Next Friday, it says in the fliers Corey linked to. It's the day after I graduate 8) And 6 days before I go to the Point for the first time 8) Thank god I'm not going durring CoasterMania, I myself don't enjoy the company of enthusiasts (in large groups.) Run into 1, 2, or 3 in a line, I'm cool with it, but having 100s all over the park all day, I'd go insane. No offense, anyone, I know its strange, considering who these forums are for.

Lol... Yeah Travis, it will be weird. I'm just going because of all that exclusive ride time! :) Also, SFGAmfreak4life, you might not get your ACE stuff in time for Coastermania. If you're joining mainly to go to Coastermania, I would suggest maybe joining CoasterBuzz instead (simply because you can register online, and that will really speed up the process). I joined CoasterBuzz on Wednesday and I just got my stuff today (Friday). It was amazingly fast. With ACE though, I think you'd have to send in your application, which would take pretty long. Just a suggestion... :)

Jeff did speed that along for you though, he sent me a nasty email saying it was too late and I knew it was coming up. I didn't join the club, but I can't go anyways.

Yeah, Jeff was kind of a jerk about it. I mean, obviously he's not a very good salesman. A good salesman who wanted our $20 would say something like, "Well, it is getting pretty close to Coastermania, but I'm sure we can work something out so that you'll still get your membership card in time.". But, oh well.I've never been to Coastermania so I'm really excited for this! What would normally be a 12 hour day (10am - 10pm) is now going to be a 21 hour day (5am - 1am the next day)! So, it's going to be great.

You arent the only one Travis. I to cant stand a whole bunch of enthusiasts and enthusiasses roaming around in the same park. The only reason I did SFGAm's CB event was to power ride S:UF for an hour. Got 15 rides on the thing and it was worth the extra money I paid for it.Although, I will say that alot of the enthusiasts I met at the picnic grove for lunch were pretty cool. I didnt run into coaster snobs. :)
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Read the part about the long lines and the 5000 enthusiasts? They recommend not going that day as a regular guest.

My cousin is going that day, she is so mad all those people are going to be there, I would too. She can't reschedule since she's going with a group.
