Starting a coaster site...

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I know a lot of you on this site have your own personal websites with coaster material. What did it take you to do that? Also, how did you set everything up and do that, I'd love to make on. Thanks for all your help.

Well most of it was alot of fun but sometimes it can be a very boring.

Well most of it was alot of fun but sometimes it can be a very boring. It is hard to exlpain and there is alot that I don't know. I would ask coasterdude316 because he has a very advanced site!

I did mine completely from scratch... I just used basic HTML code. I made it using a plain and simple program called: Notepad. :D

You did yours completely from crap to begin with. Nothing good can come out of the computer lab where your site was "born," Corey. It's the truth, and you can't say otherwise. :lol:

because im a novice and not well-versed in the world of web design, i just used the simple web builder tool that came with my free space from http://www.freeservers.com its not spectacular, but its customizable and easy. if youd like the address of my site, email or IM me and ill hook you up :)

Sounds kind of confusing - what is the most basic thing you can do to have a decent site? Is there a certain host you go through, and is it free?

good hosting isn't free horrible hosting might be free.
