TTD on Fox News Tonight at 9!

I just turned on Fox to watch the news and one of the previews for one of tonights stories is TTD testing with water dummies. Its just past 9 and it will be some time before 10 when they show it so be sure to watch.Note: They just showed the story. It was cool they talked about all the things that go into a test dummie. It's really quite interesting, and the showed a full run and a rollback.

arg...i just missed it. I turned to fox news at 9:36 just as they were finishing up telling the specs of the coaster. :roll:

Eh, well...I will be sure to see more of S:UF.

I saw it too. The rollback was interesting. I got the clip on tape, but don't have the means to put it online or anything. Sometimes Fox 32 likes to repeat stories, so it might come up tomorrow at 9pm as well or maybe Fox News Morning at 7am. But, yeah, it was a nice clip showing how they use the test dummies. Can't wait to make my first trip to CP this summer.

Yeah I watched the segment. It was very good. Inever knew that they had to warm up the wheels or otherwise it does not make it over

i saw it too and i liked it but y would they do itall the way in ohio but not here i mean it is fox news "chicago" they sould of done it here first

i was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't see why not, I say media day stuff for X over here so i would think we would get dragster's.

3 videos of it testing (including rollback) were/are available at http://www.coasterforce.info/ but i just visited there and the links arent working. perhaps they were just down for the moment...perhaps they are gone for good...in any event...i get to ride the complain this may! woo hoo!

Gone for good, most likely. Jeff Putz has a very strong stand on them, as they were taken by a tresspasser who was tresspassing. He bans anyone who links to them, I don't know how seriously Dave takes it, but he may (and should) do the same.Anyways, even so, he did give me the link. It's down, but I have 2 videos. :lol:

here is quite a good image of the power of TTD (if the image is real). Its been circulaiting on some other forums and I just thought I should share it with some of you guys. If the ride really is this intense, it should be really thrilling. :shock:

.On a more TRUTHFUL note, TTD was just on NBC 5 local news at 4 30. It didn't have very much info to tell but there was a great on ride video. It was one of the video cameras that are in the test dummies, I think they said.
