Biometrics at other Six Flags parks

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

So weird question, but are thumbprints linked to our G-Am passes used at other SFs? I'm going to Magic Mountain later this month and i have my active 2016 pass and active 2017 pass so I'm wondering if I could just have my friend use one of my passes to get in. I don't remember having to do a thumb print at STL or SFA but those aren't top tier parks like MM is.

That's a good way to get both passes revoked.

Well as much fun as committing fraud is, pretty sure the bio-metrics do transfer over to other SF parks.

I visited SFStL and SFADv this summer and SFStL wasn't using them and SFADv was. With that being said I'm still not going to recommend it either.

To play it safe don't do it. Some parks do, others don't. It depends on crowds, time of day, and if the system is actually up and running.

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

I remember in 2013 at SFGAm some of the ticket-checkers didn't have the thumbprint scanners by them, so it was pretty easy to bypass. I'm not sure if SFMM had this/has these, but I agree, don't do it, you could get kicked out and possibly lose your pass (And money)

You *might* get lucky, on Opening Day for Fright Fest they weren't checking thumbprints (In my lane atleast) so maybe it depends on crowds entering the park. If you're actually going to do this, I'd get their early

To activate my 2017 pass at SFGAm, they asked me if I still had 2016. Since I did, they just extended that pass to include 2017. Probably to save on creating another pass or perhaps to prevent fraud.

I had that done once before (Don't even know why I got it re-processed, I have a membership. Maybe it was a change in rules?)

That's odd, I've clicked that i was a current prior year passholder when I renew during the Labor Day sales these past few years and they always give me a new pass. Not going to lie. I do abuse the 2 passes as I have the dining option on both of them and some days I can't choose between a churro and a choco-taco.

^ When I bought the pass online it did ask if I had a 2016 pass. WHen I went to activate it at the park is when they just "updated" my current pass to make it expire end of 2017.

I do the same thing! We always buy the meal passes on mine and the kid's passes so we get new ones and my spouse just extends theirs. It's nice because we tend to take extra kids with us for fright fest and then everyone can get a meal and a snack! I do get odd looks when I scan in twice but I've never had an issue with it.
