Alright, thanks for the info. I just hope they fix it so they won't have to close it for the rest of the season, and so I can ride it.

Unless you have a lot of time, don't bet on PKI, it's southern Ohio. SFWoA, though, you could easily make. I was there for around 4 hours, and got on every coaster except X-Flight, which broke down, and had multiple rides on all of them I wanted rerides on. If you go there, though, I recommend you beat yourself up before you go if you plan on riding the wooden coasters there. Either wooden coasters at SFGAm and Big Chief are abnormally smooth, and they have spoiled me, or Ohio woodies suck for the most part.

Blue Streak is rough and Mean Streak just plain out sucks it is the only woodie that has mid-course brake run!

If you're going soon, like from now until the 4th, and it isn't open, you probably won't get a ride at all this year.http://www.virtualmidway.com/news/0627031.asp

I just got back from a 2 day trip from CP. Dragster's track right after the station was gone. I didnt understand why. I was also EXTREMELY frustrated at looking up at it every 15 minutes without even riding it.

The piece of track was probably gone so they could get the trains on and off...

Was the track gone, or was it transfer track? It may have just been lined up to to put a train on the storage area instead of being in the main track section.

i got one ride on it. we were there for a 3 day period over memorial day weekend. it was down occasionaly each day, but ran most of the time, only experiencing one major proble (cable snap) and that wasnt til the end of the weekend. the reason we only rode it once is because we didnt want to do the line all day. we intended to use our early park entrance to ride it but we didnt get our wake up call the second day (we got there saturday at about 11) and on monday it was closed in the a.m.it is totally worth the wait, believe me. its definitely all that it is cracked up to be, but we were with a couple friends who had never been there and we wanted to take em on all the other coasters, so we decided not to be greedy and just be happy we got one ride.hopefully ill be able to post my video of our tip later tonight. i just need to find a place to upload the complain!

When I was there 2 days ago the transfer track was over. Although the ride was shut down, I understand, and I'm glad I didn't let it ruin my day.

Cp should be the ones demanding satisfaction. They shelled out all that money, they need to get what they want from Intamin!

intamin has been there constantly maintaining and repairing, and when you consider the fact that this will (i am guessing) be the tallest and fastest coaster in the world for quite some time, i doubt that intamin will let it just go unfixed. essentially, it will be intamin's showcase ride, and they are going to do what they can to make sure thier showcase ride can and will operate at its peak without breakdowns. if it is going to be safer and or more cost effective to shut down the ride for the rest of the season to overhaul/replace they hydraulic systems, then they will. intamin coasters are not as user friendly as b&m coasters...consequently, thier prototypes experience more trouble and more downtime. considering the physics involved with this ride, im suprised everyone is so peeved that it is having troubles, especially when you consider that both intamin and cedar point admitted that they were venturing into uncharted waters...

Thats good, it would suck for all those who go to have it closed. Too bad it wasn't open when I went, but it was to be expected, I knew it was closed at the time I left, and it's still in its first year. But, if I were there today, I probably wouldn't ride it, lines are probably outragous.

It's great that it's open now... on the Status Report page it says it'll be operating. Can't wait to go to CP this summer and ride this monster!
