Six Flags' quarterly conference call with investors on Aug. 10, which can be downloaded at sixflags.com, suggests the theme park corporation is considering building an outdoor water park at Great America, on land the park already owns.
Six Flags spokeswoman Michelle Hoffman confirmed something big is on the horizon for the Gurnee-based theme park, but declined to give details just yet.
"We're looking at something very, very exciting for the 2005 season. We'll be making an official announcement Sept. 16," Hoffman indicated.
