Why has no Single Rider line been implemented?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

They should do Single Riders line in Raging Bull and Verticle Velocity. Idk if its just me but each time I go to Six Flags, always more than a 30 minute wait and I go by myself. :( its a little boring.

Lucky! They never let me stay on AE, they always ask me to get off and go back through the line even though nobody is in line.

First of all, Demon does NOT need a flash pass. The line is never long enough to even make one useful. And in my mind, every ride should just have a flash pass. I think six flags should follow the Island of Adventure method. 1 Flash pass is good for 1 ride for EVERY ride. Or not every ride, but every roller coaster, and bigger flat rides, like Giant Drop.

Also, people just need to be trained. It can make or break a ride. It made Raging Bull, and broke Deja Vu.

I didnt get too much what you said.

But maybe single rider lines on all coaster with 4 in a row. Rajun Cajun, Batman, Superman, Iron Wolf, Bull, and Batman.

It should be that way now let's see how the park implements these changes/ideas 2009/2010/2011 as far as single rider lines and the flash pass mess.

They should make a single rider line so you can have more people on one ride and ultimatly you can have more ride time.

SF wont put in single rider lines as they perfer to have longer lines/wait times and then try to force more people to spend extra money for a flash pass.

They wont use a system like fast pass, which is free and far superior to what SF parks offer.

^I don't honestly think that a single rider line would decrease flash pass sales drastically at all. Alot of groups go to the park and they usually all want to ride together. I do agree however, that they should try and get more single rider lines for different rides. Two rides that come to my mind immediately are Batman and Superman. Superman could probably do a single rider line no problem, however Batman would be a bit more difficult. I dont expect to see all the major coasters have single rider lines withing the next year, but I would love to see just 1 or 2 added this year. That in my mind would be progress. It would be a small thing to help the lines move just a little quicker to enhance the guest experience.

Single rider lines end up being pretty expensive for the park, besides first having to build a single rider queue, then they have to staff it as single rider lines only work when there is a grouper. Then besides that, alot of people dont care for groupers, as who really wants to be assigned to say Row 4 of Raging Bull.

Understatement of the century, in 05 at DejaVu we assigned seats to fill all of them. Then because of complaints at guest relations people couldnt sit where they want (though we always allowed seating wherever if asked) the parks managers told us to just let people flow in then try to fill the seats that are left empty, resulting in literally every other row being empty in the station chutes (all B rows empty)...eventually just went back to assigning seats (when there is no grouper people have no problem with B seats as they just want to get the hell out of the station and on the ride :) ).

^ Yeah, for sure. It would have worked at Dejavu, but that's about it. I've been grouped at other parks and usually you just end up with a really crappy row. They have one for Maverick, but that's only a 3 car train, so there's really no bad seat.
