Dave, have you noticed all the nasty people weve been getting lately?
Ive seen three poooooorn0, zooworms, and furilo. You should really try to get some kind of Q and A filter when you sign up to join the site.

Also, get those people off the site! They'll ruin it for all of us.

There's a s*hit load of spammers that registered the last 4 days their locations are from a differnt country or usa and their website are porn.

The only thing they can do is set the registration to user activation and visual code. That will stop most of them from posting, but they can still sign up. Other than that, theres nothing else you can do. I believe theres a program or mod from phpBB or something, but it costs money.

I know dave would hate this but every new member's 5 first posts should be emailed to dave, then he could monitor them closely.

We try to get rid of spam as quickly as possible. But sometimes, we are busy and unable to keep up with the forums.

If you would like to help us out, please use the button for topics or posts that contain spam or inappropriate content. That will help the moderators deal with it in a more timely manner.

As for the fake registered screen names, they are hard to keep up with and take alot of time to clean up. So we haven't been able to keep up with it. Over the off-season we may upgrade the forums to get rid of that problem.
