wow.

A lot of detail went into this. I mean, look at all the videos that people have posted as batman sightings on GCN!
Love the Comcast and Gotham ads and the Betty's Pies.

I think they have done a great job advertising.

Why did they put so much effort into advertising the ride and not on the ride itself? I hate seeing the adds on TV where it says "You'll wish it was only a movie!"

^^ It's viral marketing it obviously works really well ecause it attracts people as a group, and if it was pathetic then no one would be talking about it.

I'm one of the few who actually thought the ride was great but should have been promoted more towards kids and not made out to be such a big deal. The marketing department has beendoing a great job because no matter how much you like or dislike indoor rides/batman/moose coasters, you want to at least give it one try. I LOVED the sharp turns but the thing that kind of ruined it was seeing the door and things like that below me I wish it was more covered up and the door to the outside wasn't so close to when you are about to go on the main lift hill. You know which one I am talking about? Someone opened the door right as I was about to go on the lift and it kind of annoyed me. Love the preshow 8/10. Like the ride 7.5/10. Hate the silly theming 6/10. I think for what we got for the 7.5 million dollars, it wasn't so worth it in the end. It will end up one of the rides that in the end has no lines and you feel more bored than excited..cough..demon..cough

OK look at all of the sites again. Some of them have puzzle pieces with letters. They might spell something.
So far I have N R N (Blank possibly a space.) E N G C K

I've check all the sites and most of the ads.

Guesses?

EDIT: Gah! I'm stupid.
The letters spell out Kicking and screening, the website that gave out the free tickets.

 i thought i was onto something good

Why has TDK have reduced capacity for so long????

I was on superman, and seen they left the other two cars in the rain!!!!

They were right outside the building where the lift hill is.

TDK wont run 10 cars, 8 is a good number. Nothing will come out of running 10 other than downtime caused by block setup, all it takes is a guest with disability that takes awhile to get into the car (that has to stop in the dispatch drive part of the station because obviosley if someone cant use the lower part of their body, they cant get on when the cars moving) or someone who refuses to step out of the car because they snuck their bag in line.

It's running 6 now.

I know that it's only supposed to rune 8.

Ride status says "Reduced Capacity, 6 Cars"

And I seen 2 outside the building, 6+2=8

If there are 2 outside the building now that means they are running 8 as they own 10 and when it was running 6 there were 4 outside.

If there are 2 cars outside that means its running 8 cars (unless they moved 2 backstage). There are 10 cars onsite.

The ride was designed to run 10 but with the nature of the guests at large corporate parks and the brake run not being very big it will probably stick with 8. The reason it ran 6 for a long time when it opened is because it needed a program that guarenteed a car on the lift would not pass a car on the turn that goes right next to the lift at the same time and Mack needed to come back and re-program it (because when Six Flags tries to program mouse coasters you get the mess that is Ragin' Cajun, which is definitley not what they wanted to happen with TDK).

If you're talking about the ride status on this site, it hasn't been updated since June 26th. It's July 15th. I will agree that when I went there were 4 trains outside and 6 inside. Now there are 2 outside. For all we know they could be running 8.

I was not impressed with this ride. I was hoping more for a loop or corkscrew type, not a mouse. It could have been darker and/or more screening could be used. I saw every part of the ride from the very start. Something more like the look of the Rock'n'roller coaster would have been nice.

The theming inside the ride could have been placed to create more visual threat to the rider. Right now you zip by from the side and barely see the props and signs.

I enjoyed the ride but expected way more from the hype engine. The preshow was pretty cool and the theming was nice.

^ Yeah the first time I went on it, I could see everything before it came up, It could have been better that's for sure but it's an ok ride.
SF trips 08 = 8
SF trips 09 = First trip will probably be 5/9/09 or 5/16/09 depending when I get out of school.

I went today and 4 cars were sitting outside. You could see it from Superman.

I rode it for the first time today and I actually liked it. I don't know if it would be worth the wait it currently has, as I was the first dispatch of the day, but I went on it with no high expectations and came off the ride pleasantly suprised.
