I've heard that the ride will be 4,200ft long. For me, that sounds really short for a Hyper Coaster at a park with like 250+ acres for expansion. I wonder if the trains will be like Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland or if they will go back to Tried and True 4-Across.

2 B&M hypers for 2 Former Paramount Parks. Could Carowind's & Kings Dominion be Next? (I know there's California's Great America but I don't think that park has much room left for expansion. I could be wrong.)

With This, Son Of Beast, & Backlot added since my visit in 03, It is looking really good as a future trip.

Those comments can get pretty fierce on that Dayton website.

Oh well, I go to Dayton every year so, I'll probably give it a ride.

Did anyone catch this statement in the article?

Kings Island's drawings filed with the city of Mason also indicate three loops.

Take it for what its worth, as I've not seen the drawing. However, the B&M Hyper's that I have been on, have not had any loops. Rather, they have the heavy banked turns instead.

Not to say that B&M can't put loops on the hyper. Just saying that the press may have saw what they thought were "loops" on the drawing and they are not loops. Of course, it would rock if it did have 3 loops! :)

I liked riding on the "B" seats on Behemoth, it does have the same problem DejaVu had which was having issues filling those seats because people want to sit next to their friends so a lot of empty seats go out.

track has arrived at Kings Island.

It appears to be standard track, as opposed to the wide gauge Dive Coaster track.

Pretty much all B&M track looks the same with the exception of the Dive coasters which has a noticably wider track.

The layout looks neat, with lots of airtime hills. The seating layout looks very cool too. It seems like lots of B&M hypers are really spread out lately vs. a layout like Bull's, which isn't very sprawling compared to others.

That is part of the problem, but not the main one!!!!
The chain bought too many medicore parks just to get big, and has had awful service while being overpriced for almost everything in the park. They could have built big rides if the company was properly run with good customer service. And building prototype rides like DeJuVue that were rarely working doesnt help!!

^When they bought DeJaVu they did not know that it was going to have problems. Now they know that it was a waste of money and did not help the company but when they bought it they thought it was going to work, attract people and that it would make them money.

^ and ^^, King's Island isn't owned by Six Flags, it's owned by Cedar Fair, and they never bought a Giant Inverted Boomerang.

Also, when I was referring to a sprawling coaster, I meant that it has a longer layout, like Goliath at La Ronde, vs. a more compact, twisted layout, like Raging Bull.

Whenever you buy a prototype ride you are taking a risk, unless its a B & M ride.
