8/27 Trip

Let us know how your day at the park was.

I have never heard a single complaint about raging Bull. It looks so sexy with that new paint. It makes it pop so much more now. Money well spent. How about Dark Knight next? Graffiti type of paint would be fine and probably inexpensive. Then, of course Wolfie.

Well Bull popped open on me one time but I've never really had a problem with it, Id like that graffiti on TDK it just looks so dull
SF trips 08 = 8
SF trips 09 = First trip will probably be 5/9/09 or 5/16/09 depending when I get out of school.

I think that the graffiti on TDK sounds like a good idea.

A bunch of "HA HA"'s and "WHY SO SERIOUS?" and splattered paint would look so cool. I don't get the paint on DK's GA especially since it is only painted one side. Ours you can see more of the box especially by the front of the park which is the most important. The weather delayed construction so I forgive them this year but in 2009 Dark Knight better be prettier. I still like the ride though. I wouldn't mind waiting 5-10 minutes for it. But that's it. Overall I can give DK a 7/10.

I think IW needed the paint job more than bull. And I agree, spraypaint would look awsome on TDK.

No because Bull gave Great America the best skylight ever. It stands out more and the faded paint looked terrible. iron Wolf is tucked away in the back of the park and it's popularity is 75% less than Bull's. Bull deserved it this year. dark Knight should be next and then Iron Wolf if it is still around.

^Ya, you do see Bull more but I still think that IW needs painting bad and so does TDK.

Yeah I hated missing Bull but no way would I wait in that hour plus line and I didn't want to spend money on a flash pass this time. That bird poop going up on Superman is nasty.

That line with 1 house full is only 30-45 mins. I was there that day as well and it only got up to 1/2 full in 1 house. We went on Raging Bull twice and it was 25 mins then 35 mins.

Still, looking at where the line started (Past the entrance) and onto the sidewalk I said no way.

Just because the line goes into the midway doesn't mean it's always a long wait. Some times none of the ques will be open so the line can be in the midway but only 30 minutes long.

I had more fun on the flats and water rides combined than I would have on Raging Bull one time. Especially since that line takes a while to get to the very top and it was about 2 or 3 P.M. and the sun was blazing. Unless I have a flash pass, Bull is only worth going on in the very start of opening otherwise I will not wait 30-45 minutes for any ride. MAYBE Roaring Rapids.

Not even true by a long shot. Superman is down much more often than Wolf.

^Are you surious? It seems like evertime I go to the park I see IW closed and I have only seen SUF down ounce. Wow, I would have never guessed that SUF was down more, that shockes me.

SUF breaks down WAY more than Iron Wolf, the flyers break down far more than any other B&M for that matter. Ive got plenty of grease splotches all over my nice clothes to prove it.

I have never seen Iron Wolf down...ever. Superman has it share of problems but ususally they get resolved within the 30-45 minutes.

Yeah, of all the B&Ms Iron Wolf has the least bit of down time (with my experience at least).

Batman- Closes in rain, and there has been many times were it was closed all day
SUF- Every time I wait in line there is some sort of down time
Raging Bull- At least this year, there has been some days where it opened late, or not at all
Iron Wolf- The only time I have experienced down time was for guest illness

Thank God I never witnessed a guest illness. Nasty. I thought I would on my first time on Demon in 1998. Luckily, no. Have a weak stomach? eat something recently? wait to go on a ride or don't go at all!
